40 miles...not a problem!

The Lyke Wake Walk 2010 in aid of Fairbridge Teesside saw 37 fundraisers start the arduous walk across the North Yorkshire Moors at midnight last Friday - 25th June in Osmotherley. 18 hours, 40 blister packs, 225 cups of tea/coffee, 50 cups of soup, 50 bacon butties, 144 choccie bars and 42 miles later they crossed the finish line in Ravenscar!

The fundraisers were supported by Fairbridge staff and volunteers throughout the walk. The walk meant we were able to raise vital funds - hopefully about £10,000 and enable even more people to be inspired by what we do!

A big well done to everyone who took part, it was a great day!
