Fairbridge Solent receives referrals from a wide range of statutory and voluntary organisations including schools, housing services and hostels, youth offending teams, CAMHS, youth services and social care. We also receive referrals directly from parents and young people themselves.

The first step if you wish to make a referral is to contact our Outreach and Development Team to arrange for the Young Person to have an Induction. This is their chance to find out if the Fairbridge Programme is right for them.

Referral case study

"The amazing range of activities at Fairbridge, from art, gardening and drama through to daredevil high ropes and kayaking through rapids, mixed with a team that are caring and fun, firm and knowledgeable creates an environment where young people can grow and develop in a positive and supported way.

The team don’t just use their expertise to bring out the best in young people, they encourage them to reflect on their own limitations and empower them to push themselves physically and emotionally to achieve things they never thought possible."

Louise Edwards – Final year Southampton University Medical Student
