Work with us

Learn 2 EarnWe wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the generous support of a wide range of supporters and funders who are working with us to improve the chances for young people in Southampton and Hampshire.

If you would like to get involved in any way, please get in touch.

There is so much going on at Fairbridge Solent – so why not get involved? Your support will make a big difference!

Working in partnership

Barclays, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, Sue&Sue

Barclays are working with us this year to support young people through our Access course and on our "Learn to Earn/Business Ladder" project. Barclays staff have also volunteered and recently decorated and refurbished our centre in East Street.

Pete White, Manager, Fairbridge Solent:

“It's been great working with Barclays, who have been very supportive and encouraging. We can now use our studio in East Street for running a range of sessions - from drama to art, IT to music.

The Business Ladder project aims to help young people learn some key financial and business skills and helps them see the value of work. We are running sessions around conservation - where young people will make and sell besom brooms and other rustic products, and art - where young people will be making Christmas cards to sell at Barclays branches and the local art market"

Richard - Premier Southampton:

"As Barclays staff we have been afforded a fantastic opportunity to support Fairbridge Solent as they look to transform their East Street Centre premises. Vivien, Jenny and Richard from the local Premier centre took part in a full day of planning with Fairbridge Solent staff alongside some of their young people. Over 40 Barclays staff will be getting involved over the next 3 weeks which is an exciting time for us. It is great to see that a company like Barclays can contribute to the local community where the end result will benefit so many young people"
