Thanks to support from State Street Bank, Fairbridge in Scotland have been able to develop the ICT courses currently being offered to young people in Edinburgh and Glasgow, changing the way they review their Fairbridge experience. Armed with digital cameras, they can now record the highs and lows on camera, and analyse behaviour and progress as a group on the big screen.
The money has also funded a wide range of exciting new ICT courses – ranging from work-focussed activities such as online job-searching and CV preparation, to more creative courses in film and music production, which have the added benefit of helping young people develop literacy and numeracy skills.
