Fairbridge Young People learn the law at Mock Trial

Mock Trial

Fairbridge young people had their chance to turn their hand at the law last week by taking part in a mock trial at St Philips Chambers. The trial was the culmination of an Active Citizenship project which ran for nine days and aimed to improve the communication skills of those involved. Everyone who completed the course will received an ASDAN award in Citizenship. St Philips Chambers also presented Fairbridge with a donation of £1400.

Claire Rigby, Fairbridge West Midlands Manager, said "The results have been life changing for some of our young people who now see the law from a totally different perspective."

A massive thank you from all Fairbridge staff and young people to St Philips Chambers for facilitating this project and for their generous donation. Click here to visit their website.
