Fairbridge Swansea is the newest of the Fairbridge centres, and has been open for just two years.
It was opened as a response to the realisation that service provision in the area was patchy, with no other organisations providing the holistic approach to service provision that Fairbridge specialises in.
The centre was opened in small offices in the city centre but quickly moved to its new location three doors down to account for its expansion and into a premises where young people could access.
Its new office was opened by Cabinet Minister Peter Hain in 2006, and over the past year it has added an IT suite to its new home.
