We’ve been in Newcastle now for 20 years - the last 5 years being based in the West End. Over the years, the young people we see through our doors have had to combat many personal barriers, unable to see any future for themselves. Through so many issues and problems that they’ve not been able to engage in services offered to them, until they were introduced to Fairbridge. Maybe it is our mix of zany staff, maybe it is our off the wall humour, maybe it is our personalities or maybe just that we do understand the young people and have a natural instinct of how to work the special way that is needed. But here at Tyne & Wear we work hard and we see the results. We build extremely good rapport with them and enable them to find their direction – what better reward could you ask for!
