Fairbridge covers Tyne & Wear, South Tyneside and North Tyneside, mainly focusing on the areas of Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Fairbridge in Tyne & Wear also undertakes some work with Fairbridge in Teesside too.

Issues our young people face

The last few years has seen a real rise in knife crime amongst young people. Many choose to carry knives at they think it ups their social status. Crime and anti-social behaviour are extremely prevalent amongst Newcastle’s young people.
