Early Intervention for Psychosis (EIP)
Our relationship with Fairbridge has been going strong for four years now. We have become really good at identifying which young people would really benefit from Fairbridge and four of our staff regularly refer to Fairbridge. Many of the young people at EIP come to us for counselling services. They often have very low self-esteem and have problems coping with their mental health difficulties. Recently a young person who had suffered a breakdown was referred to Fairbridge. They really were on the road to nowhere. They had such low self-belief, but after attending Fairbridge and getting one-to-one support from them, they are now enrolled on a college course and are much more positive about their life and future.
