So what are you – a local company, a potential volunteer or maybe someone interested in becoming a committee member? There’s every chance that your local Fairbridge centre needs you.
There is so much going on at Fairbridge – so why not get involved. Your support will make a big difference!
Fairbridge West Midlands were involved in a 3 year pilot funded by the Department of Helath, overseen by the National Youth Agency to develop health and youth work guidleines. Please view the case study.
Each year, Birmingham Law Society nominate a charity and this year’s president (2008/09), Caroline Coates of Buller Jeffries, has nominated Fairbridge West Midlands. Caroline was previously a member of Fairbridge’s fund raising team in Birmingham and therefore has had first hand opportunity to understand the effectiveness of our work and its impact on young people in the local area. She said “Fairbridge makes a real difference on the lives of the young people it supports. We are looking at ways in which Birmingham Law Society can work closely with Fairbridge in the year ahead to maximise opportunities and particularly to explain to local professionals the importance of its work”.
